The trucking industry has circa 450,000 registered vehicles on the road in the UK. Add to that all the commercial vehicles carrying out deliveries across the land and that figure gets close to 1 million professional drivers behind the wheel on our roads. When the thousands of coaches are included, this rises even further.

Truck. Van. Coach. This sector is not serviced by a single radio station that is dedicated to drivers, or indeed, the whole professional driving industry. Until now.

Truck Radio is a dedicated radio station for the Truck, Haulage, Commercial, Coach, Distribution and Logistics industry.

We appreciate that professional drivers are on our roads 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is why Truck Radio is on air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – we are with you every mile, day, or night. Bringing you a great mix of music, news, regular travel updates, and interviews with industry professionals – talking about YOUR industry.

Our story

Truck Radio was founded by Managing Director Dave King, an expert and veteran of radio for more than 35 years. He has put together a great team of presenters to bring you all the latest views, news, and interviews directly into your cab.

This is not just another radio station. We understand the importance of interacting with our nationwide audience. We want to hear YOUR views on YOUR industry, right here on YOUR radio station. It is a two-way street (pardon the pun!) Truck Radio will interact with drivers on the road through call in programmes, music choices, news, and regular competitions.

Endorsed and driven by the RHA, the station is totally funded by a mixture of sponsorship and advertising, which will be featured throughout each day’s various programmes.
